Hyper Light Breaker is an upcoming 2024 3D science fiction rogue-lite video game set in the world of Hyper Light Drifter, developed by Heart Machine. It is slated to be released in early access in early 2025. While the game takes place in the World of Light, it is not set in the Land of Light, the continent featured in Hyper Light Drifter, but is rather set in a new land called "the Overgrowth". It will however feature the same alien language as seen in Hyper Light Drifter. Hyper Light Breaker is the third game to be set in the Hyper Light Universe, the second being Solar Ash.
